Clarity on Dog License Applications

Due to an oversight by the vendor, Dog License Applications were not included in our annual census mailing. As a courtesy to dog owners and new residents likely unaware of the licensing requirement, applications were subsequently sent to all Melrose households. The City did not incur additional postage or printing costs as this was covered by the vendor.

• If you don’t have a dog, please recycle the mailing (recyclable dog renewal registration forms have typically always been included in the census mailing).
• If you have a dog, please complete the application by March 15 to avoid late fees. View application information online here.
