The Board of Health is a three member board appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Board of Aldermen. The staggered terms are for three year terms. It is a statutory board created by MGL c.111 section 26 and c.41 section 1. The Board meets monthly, usually the second Wednesday of the month, in the Lower Level Conference Room of City Hall.
