The Week Ahead: Public Meetings & Events Happening in Melrose
In Melrose, public meetings and events open to all residents take place every week. All posted agendas can be accessed via this link, http://melrosecityma.iqm2.com/citizens/default.aspx, and public meeting video recordings can be accessed here https://vimeo.com/mmtv3/ (Thanks, MMTV!).
A few events of note this week:
- On Wednesday, join people across Massachusetts and MassDEP for the webinar Stories of Our Stuff: Recycling & Secondhand Industry Across the World geared toward informing the public about the recycling industry and practices globally.
- This Saturday, get a head start on Earth Week and clean up your favorite corner of Melrose by participating in Keep Melrose Beautiful’s Spring Community Clean-up!
- Plus, attend DPW’s Motor Oil/Gas/Antifreeze Collection this Saturday to get rid of motor oil, gas, and antifreeze, and recycle various electronics, metal goods, tires, CFL bulbs, mattresses/box springs (and more!) for an associated fee.
