Trash and recycling are collected weekly and should be set out at curbside by 7:00 AM on your collection day, but not before 5:00 PM the day before scheduled collection. Collection on holiday weeks will be picked up one day late after the holiday, with Friday’s collection on Saturday. Please note: city employees are forbidden to enter private property to pick up containers, including: driveways, cellars, garages or yards.

SEASONAL NOTES:

During the first two weeks in January, Christmas trees are collected curbside or may be dropped off at the Recycling Center. Remove stand and all plastic bags, tinsel, twine, lights, ornaments, etc. Trees in plastic bags will not be collected or accepted at DPW.

The 2024 Collection Calendar and Recycling Info & Event schedule is available on our Calendars & Schedules page, and has also been mailed out to all households that receive curbside pickup from the city. If you did not receive your calendar in the mail, or need another copy, you may obtain one at DPW's Resident Services Office and the Engineering Division of City Hall.
