Law Department
The Legal Department for the City of Melrose represents and advises the City, its departments, boards, and commissions, as well as the officials and employees of the City in all areas of municipal law. Such representation includes litigation matters as well as legal opinions. The Legal Department serves as general counsel to the City, as a corporation, and as such cannot provide legal advice or representation to members of the public.
