The Public Works Department is responsible for all maintenance and upkeep of all public school buildings and city properties including the following municipal buildings: Beebe Estate, Melrose City Hall; Melrose Fire Stations; Melrose Police Department, Melrose Public Library and the Milano Senior Center
Safety/Security
The safety and security of the Melrose Community is our top priority – all DPW maintained facilities meet rigorous state occupancy and inspection standards. Rentals
Melrose facilities offer a unique setting for business meetings, seminars, conferences and summer camps. There are multiple configurations from individual classrooms to tournament capacity gymnasiums available. All Melrose Public School building rentals are handled by the Public Works Department. Saturdays seasonally (April - December ) 8am-3pm
