The Salon on South is a series of fundraising concerts hosted in the home of Melrose residents Steven Jones and David Langer. The Salon’s mission is to raise money for social justice and other worthy causes through community and music. 100% of donations from patrons always goes to the organization chosen for the event. Since its inception in the spring of 2017, The Salon on South has raised several thousand dollars for organizations including Let America Vote, The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, The American Civil Liberties Union, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, the United Negro College Fund, Planned Parenthood, and the International Rescue Committee.
