Pantry of Hope Fund-Raiser on October 5

Photo of the four women in the musical group 'Ladies First'The public is invited to an evening of entertainment and fundraising for the Pantry of Hope food pantry at the First Baptist Church, 561 Main St., on Saturday, Oct. 5th at 7 p.m. Come and enjoy a musical production from "Ladies First", a group that includes Jean Dancewicz, Christine Corbett, Jane Corrigan and Carolina Lanney,   as they present "What … No Tiara?", a show about the real lives of women in song and dance. Come and enjoy a chocolate dessert bar, raffles, and great entertainment!   All proceeds from the evening will go to the church's food pantry, The Pantry of Hope, that serves clients from Melrose and the surrounding communities.  Everyone is invited to bring a non-perishable item for the pantry. Tickets may be purchased from Buckalew's General Store, 529 Main St., Melrose, Macaulay's House of Vacuums, 102 Tremont St., Melrose, First Baptist Church office, and Eventbrite.com.  For more information, please call the church office at 781-665-4470.
