Melrose Open Studios Tour on December 2

MOST logoThe Melrose Open Studio Tour (MOST) returns this Sunday, December 2nd, from 11 am to 5 pm. MOST is a free event where local artists invite the general public into their home studios, workspaces, and galleries. Just in time for the holidays, many unique and hand-crafted works of art will be available for purchase.

This year, over 40 artists will show their work in 22 locations. The Beebe Estate, located at 235 West Foster Street, will serve as the MOST Welcome Center. Participants may start their tour at the Beebe and pick up a map of the locations. Five Melrose artists will be showing their work there, as well as the debut of the Melrose History Quilt project.

Participants may visit the open studios at any point along the tour. The map is available for download on the MOST website, www.melroseopenstudios.org. Besides the Beebe Estate, copies of the map will be available at the following downtown Melrose locations: Miter Biter Frame Co., Hourglass Gift Gallery, and Follow Your Art.

The Melrose Open Studio Tour is made possible by grants from the Melrose Messina Fund for the Arts and the Melrose Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency; plus, sponsorships from Melrose Arts, the Agent Expertise team at Leading Edge Real Estate, Miter Biter Frame Co., and Crosscut Sewing Co.
