The Melrose Open Studio Tour (MOST) returns this Sunday, December 8, 11 am - 5 pm. MOST is a free event where local artists invite the general public into their studios, workspaces, and galleries. Just in time for the holidays, many unique and hand-crafted works of art will be available for purchase.
This year, 48 artists will show their work in 23 locations around Melrose. MOST will be the featured fine art exhibit at The Beebe Estate during the month of December. There is an Opening Reception with the artists on Friday, December 6, 7 - 9 pm. Get a sneak preview of the Tour on Saturday, December 7, during open gallery hours 11 am - 3 pm. The Beebe Estate will serve as the MOST Welcome Center on Sunday during the event.
The 2019 map is available for download on the MOST website, www.melroseopenstudios.org. Besides the Beebe Estate, copies of the map are available at the following Main Street locations: Miter Biter Frame Co., Hourglass Gift Gallery, and Follow Your Art Community Studios.
The Melrose Open Studio Tour is made possible by grants from the Melrose Messina Fund for the Arts and the Melrose Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency; plus, sponsorships from Melrose Arts, Miter Biter Frame Co., and Crosscut Sewing Co.
