Have you ever wished there was one community calendar for all the great events that take place right here in Melrose? That calendar is here! Look What’s Happening Melrose is the online, free, community calendar that supports and lists the many wonderful events that happen here in our city.

Over 80 local organizations and businesses have already set up their free membership and are posting their events. The Look What’s Happening site will only post community events that happen within 02176. It is not a site for individual events such as yard sales, parties, etc. We are the site for all-inclusive events that celebrate the great things that happen in Melrose – music events, drama performances, educational workshops, recreational programs, fairs, farmers market dates, library events, fundraisers, and so much more.

The Look What’s Happening calendar is a free resource for all our residents and visitors. We welcome new organizations to join at any time!

The idea for Look What’s Happening grew out of a frustration to find one site in Melrose that posted all the wonderful events that are happening here. We started talking to people in the community about making an all inclusive site for what is happening in town. The more we talked with people about the idea, the clearer it became that we are not alone in this frustration. After three years of tinkering with ideas and drafts of how it could work, we hope that this site will help bring people together in the community by providing a central location for sharing events and finding things to do with ease and without leaving town.

We are grateful for the support of the community calendar from the Melrose Cultural Council, MMTV, Melrose Bank, Melrose Messina Fund for the Arts, Melrose Community Coalition and from the many groups that post their events.
