How to schedule Inspections

You will need rough inspections from the Plumbing Inspector and the Electrical Inspector prior to requesting a building inspection. Please have the contractors contact the respective Inspectors.

Electrical Inspections are Mon., Wed. & Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and Tuesdays 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: to schedule an inspection call (the day you want the inspection -  Bill Kotowski at 781-979-4134 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. wkotowski@cityofmelrose.org (Note:  To request a Tuesday inspection call Monday).

Plumbing & Gas Inspections are Mon. –Thurs.: to schedule an inspection call (the day you want the inspection) Kenny Rogers at 781-979-4136  between the hours of 12:00 p.m.. - 2:00 p.m. krogers@cityofmelrose.org

Building Inspections are Mon.- Thurs.: to schedule an inspection call (the day you want the inspection)  Stephen Doucet 781-979-4138 between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. sdoucet@cityofmelrose.org.

*Please note there are NO INSPECTIONS ON FRIDAYS
