Update 9/9/2021: Water Main Break on Penney Road

Update: 9/9/2021: Water Service has been restored to the Penney Road area. Residents nearby may experience water discoloration or air in the water line. If that happens, let your outside spigot or cold water tap run until clear. If the problem continues, please notify the Water Department at 781-979-4175.
The City of Melrose is addressing a water main break on Penney Road. At this time, streets that will not have water are Penny Road, Patriot Way, Nordic Way, and Penney Hill Road. Please avoid driving on Penny Road if possible. The Water Department is currently assessing and repairing. We will keep you updated as the situation develops.
