REMINDER: Foundation Work for the Lynn Fells Parkway Bridge Continues August 28-30

The MBTA's contractor for the Lynn Fells Parkway Bridge Replacement will once again close Lynn Fells Parkway beneath the bridge to erect steel and assemble the new bridge structure. This work will take place from 4:00 AM on Saturday, August 28, through 4:00 AM on Monday, August 30.

A signed detour route will be in place for this work, and a detour map can be viewed on the project website. The Lynn Fells Parkway closure will begin at 4:00 AM on Saturday August 28th. We encourage drivers to avoid the area or seek alternate routes to avoid delays. MBTA railroad service will continue through the weekend. Please note the City Yard will remain open on Saturday and accessible via Tremont St.
