Melrose Residents Speak Their Mind

Photo of the participants in the Override Listening Session

I want to thank everyone who came out to the first Override Listening Session last night. It was Melrose at its best. I was impressed with the range of thoughtful opinions that were expressed and the respectful tone of the conversation. It was exactly what I hoped would happen: I heard many different voices and perspectives. We took careful notes, and we will be taking your comments into consideration and posting answers to your questions on my blog and in the newspaper in the weeks to come.

If you missed last night’s session, please come to the second one next Tuesday, October 2, at 7 p.m. in the Melrose High School Learning Commons. You are also invited to submit feedback via a questionnaire, which is available at City Hall, the Melrose Public Library, and the Milano Center as well as online, and by e-mailing questions and comments to mayorsoffice@cityofmelrose.org.
