Melrose Offers Residents Two Ways to Dispose of Christmas Trees
Trees must be bare upon curbside pickup or City Yard drop off - free of decorations, lights, and plastic bags.

Curbside collection of Christmas trees will take place in Melrose starting Monday, January 3 and will continue until Friday, January 14. Trees will be picked up curbside during residents' regularly scheduled collection days (if your trash and recyclables are usually picked up on Mondays, your tree will also be picked up then). Upon pickup, trees must be bare - free of decorations, lights and plastic bags.
Trees can also be dropped off at the City Yard between January 3 and January 14. The City Yard, located at 72 Tremont St, is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7:30a.m. - 2:45p.m.
