Melrose DPW: Annual Spring Street Sweeping Program Will Kick Off April 3

With Spring kicking off this week, the City of Melrose Department of Public Works (DPW) has released the schedule for its Spring Street Sweeping Program, which will begin on Monday, April 3, 2023. Each Ward and Precinct will be swept in the order reflected in the schedule below. View the City of Melrose Ward Map.

Daily sweeping will begin at approximately at 5 a.m. The schedule will be updated as needed to adjust for weather challenges.

The DPW asks the community to make every effort to have vehicles removed from the roadway on scheduled days to ensure proper sweeping of each street and appreciates the cooperation and understanding of residents and business owners during the department’s sweeping efforts.

Please Note: In addition to the Main Roads being swept during the week of April 3 through April 7, they will be swept again at the end of the program, and during their designated Ward/Precinct sweeping days.
