Melrose Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Survey Open Until October

The City of Melrose continues to seek feedback in community-wide needs assessment
DEI Survey

MELROSE, MA—On August 4, 2021, the City of Melrose released a city-wide survey seeking community feedback to identify strengths and challenges around diversity, equity, and inclusion in partnership with VISIONS, Inc. The survey, scheduled to remain open until October 4, is available in four languages both electronically and in hard copy.

The City hopes to hear from a wide range of respondents, and the survey is open to anyone who lives, works, studies, sends children to school, or recreates in Melrose or otherwise has a relationship to the community.

VISIONS, Inc. will collect the data and compile the results into a summary of themes of strengths and challenges and develop recommendations and next steps to support the City’s journey toward a more equitable future. All answers will remain strictly anonymous.

The survey is available here, and via hard copy at the Melrose Public Library (69 W Emerson St.), the Council on Aging (235 W Foster St.), and the Mayor’s Office in City Hall (562 Main St). Individuals requiring accommodations should contact Communications & Outreach Specialist Brianna Garcia at bgarcia@cityofmelrose.org.
