MAIN STREET PAVING NOTICE

Dates of Construction (Weather Permitting):

Monday, November 15, 2021

If paving gets rained out Monday, we will reschedule to Tuesday, November 16th

Location:  Main Street – from Sylvan Street to Mt. Vernon Street

Work Hours:  7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Contractor: D & R General Contracting, Inc.

Scope of Work:  Final Pave on Main Street

Please Note:

• NO PARKING will be allowed in the entire work zone during work hours.
• Driveway Access may be limited during work hours.  We request that all abutters park vehicles outside of the work zone before the start of work.
• Trash and Recycling Collection: Residents of this section of Main Street: please place your trash and recycling containers curbside by 6:45 am. JRM will begin the day on this stretch of Main Street.
• The Melrose Police Department is aware of the paving schedule and has granted permission for abutters to move vehicles onto side streets on Sunday Night overnight.
• Only Southbound Traffic will be allowed on Main Street during work hours.
