Lynn Fells Parkway Temporarily Closed Wednesday, September 22

Lynn Fells Parkway will be closed to traffic from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM from Vinton St. to Tremont St.

On Wednesday, September 22 from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Lynn Fells Parkway will be closed to all traffic from Vinton St. to Tremont St. A signed detour route will be in place. The detour map can be viewed here.

Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route. Before 8:30 AM and after 2:30 PM on Wednesday, two-way traffic will be allowed and access to the schools will be available.

The MBTA encourages drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to minimize delays. Those traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution. The schedule for this major infrastructure project is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
