Teens, Screens, and Self-Esteem, Wednesday, May 30 at 7 p.m.in the MHS Learning Commons.

Worried about the impact of screen time and teen mental health? Please save the date for this free parent event:

Dr. Lisa Coyne will lead a discussion on how parents can help teens navigate the pressures of their digital lives. She will discuss concerns about screen time, social media, video gaming and how screens impact adolescents’ mental health, including mood, sleep, and attention based on current research.

Dr. Coyne is a faculty member of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, founder of the Child and Adolescent OCD Institute at McLean Hospital, and co-founder of the New England Center for OCD and Anxiety (www.newenglandocd.org) in Melrose.
