FCC Racial Justice Ministry to Hold Book Discussion on September 30

The Racial Justice Ministry of First Congregational Church, Melrose will be hosting a discussion on Stamped From the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America by Ibram X. Kendi. Sunday Sept 30, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the church, 121 W. Foster St. The book is long, so you do not need to read all of it in order to participate in the discussion. Please read the prologue, epilogue, and at least one of the five 100-page (or so) sections.

We will each share our knowledge and insights from the section that we’ve read. For more information, please contact Betsy Garrett at betsy.luebbe.garrett@gmail.com The event is free but please sign up on eventbrite so we can keep track of who’s coming.
