Donate Peanut Butter & Jelly to Melrose Kind Porch in Support of Local Food Pantries

This March, the Melrose community can support local food pantries, A Servant’s Heart Food Pantry and Pantry of Hope, and the residents they serve by donating jars of peanut butter and jelly to the MelroseKind porch located at 249 Grove Street in Melrose. MelroseKind has launched this drive to re-stock the pantries of these essentials and will be accepting donations until March 31.

“MelroseKind is looking for donations of peanut butter, and other nut and seed butter, that will stock the shelves and give sustenance to our neighbors in need,” said MelroseKind. “Peanut butter is high in protein, does not require refrigeration and has a great shelf life. We will use your donations to stock the shelves at A Servant's Heart and Pantry of Hope. We're hoping to get enough to share with Bread of Life, too!”

MelroseKind's goal is to "pack the porch" in support of our local food pantries and the residents they serve. When community members donate an item, they can pick up a MelroseKind pin to wear on their lapels to celebrate kindness in our community and beyond. MelroseKind celebrates kindness in our community and beyond.

The MelroseKind collects program supports a different organization each month: “Let's change the world, one kind act at a time.”
