Conservation Commission Seeks 'Trail Stewards'

Are you a regular visitor or abutter to any of Melrose's conservation lands?  If so, would you like to help keep these properties at their best and help address any existing issues that the Commission may not be aware of?  The Melrose Conservation Commission is seeking to designate a few trail stewards to walk trails or boundaries monthly at Flagg Acres, Knox Memorial/RockyView, Seaview Trails or others and identify management problems such as: (trash deposits, use of motorized vehicles, damage to natural assets, damage to signs, etc…) and assist in routine maintenance of trails and removal of litter.
