Ward 2

HomeWorks Energy, a Melrose and Mass Save partner, will be canvassing the community beginning Tuesday, November 15, to spread the word about the Melrose Energy Challenge and encourage community members to make their homes more efficient with incentives available through the Mass Save program.

City-approved energy efficiency ambassadors will be knocking on doors to share information with residents about no-cost Home Energy Assessments, plus support community members with weatherization/insulation and heating system upgrades. This community education and support is part of the City’s efforts to save residents energy and money, plus expand awareness of Mass Save program offerings like no-cost assessments .

During an assessment, a specialist will assess your home and show you how to save energy. For community members who have already had an assessment in the last three years, they can still access new incentives including:

  • No-cost air sealing and 75-100% off approved insulation
  • Up to $15,000 in heat pump rebates
  • 0% financing on up to $25,000 for energy efficiency upgrades
  • No-cost items like programmable thermostats, water-saving devices, and more

To participate in the Melrose Energy Challenge and schedule your energy assessment or upgrades, call HomeWorks Energy at (781) 305-3319 or go online at HWE.Works/Melrose.

Thank you, HomeWorks!
