City of Melrose, neighboring communities to offer Covid-19 Vaccine

Mayor Brodeur announced that the City of Melrose will be offering opportunities for residents to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, according to the three phased process established by the State. Melrose residents will have a variety of opportunities to receive the vaccine which include City operated clinics, private healthcare providers, some pharmacies, and state operated distribution sites.

As details and guidance from the Federal and State government has shifted, City officials have had to adapt plans. The City is able to share information regarding our remaining efforts to complete Phase I and begin Phase II. To determine which phase you or your family members fall in, please visit this website: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/when-can-i-get-the-covid-19-vaccine

Melrose has established a reciprocal relationship with the 5 other communities of the Mystic Valley Public Health Coalition. Qualified residents of Melrose, Malden, Medford, Wakefield, Winchester, and Stoneham may receive their vaccine at municipal clinics offered in any of those municipalities. Doses of the Pfizer vaccine are being distributed across the public health district. Second doses of the vaccine will be available for residents receiving their first dose through these clinics. Supplies are extremely limited, and we appreciate your patience in advance.
