Where may I pay my ticket?
Tickets less than 21 days old may be paid in person or by mail at the Collector’s Office, City Hall, 562 Main Street, Melrose MA 02176. Payments may be made by cash, money order, or check payable to the City of Melrose only; credit cards, debit cards, and third party checks are not accepted. Please do not mail cash.
Tickets older than 21 days are overdue and may be paid at the Collector’s Office, City Hall, or online through the Deputy Collector, Kelley & Ryan, at kelleyryan.com. The Collector’s Office accepts cash or check only. The Deputy Collector’s website accepts credit and debit card transactions.
How do I dispute a ticket?
Ticket disputes must be submitted in writing within 21 days of the violation. Please fill out the Parking Dispute Form and mail/bring it to the Collector’s Office, City Hall, 562 Main Street, Melrose MA 02176.
Tickets older than 21 days may not be disputed as noted on the ticket per M.G.L.
The Parking Clerk will review your dispute in a timely manner and respond in writing with his decision. Please note that not being aware of a parking ordinance is not a valid reason for abatement of a ticket.
Where may I obtain information and balances due on overdue tickets?
