Water and Sewer

The Water and Sewer Division operates and maintains two water pump stations, five sewer pump stations, 80 miles of water mains, 78 miles of sewer mains, 850 hydrants, and 1,340 water gates. The Division maintains and reads 8,500 water meters, prepares quarterly billing for about 700,000,000 gallons of water, implements DEP drinking water testing and reporting, and manages the senior citizen water and trash discount programs. The division also implements strategic capital programs to ensure these systems function safely and efficiently.
