Jan. 4 Snow Storm Information

DPW storm Update for Jan. 4

The Storm Operations Center at the City Yard will be open at 5 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, in preparation for the expected snowstorm.

• City Hall will be closed, and all operations will be moved to the Storm Operations Center. The Storm Center office (781-665-0142) will open at 7 a.m.
• The Library and the Council on Aging will be closed.
• In case of an emergency, call 911. All non-emergency calls regarding snow removal should be directed to the Storm Center, 781-665-0142.
• There will be an on-street parking ban on Thursday, January 4, starting at 12 noon.
• The height of the storm will be throughout the day. We are asking people to stay in their homes and not drive during the heart of the storm. There will be blizzard-like conditions and it will be very dangerous.
• Current forecasts call for the temperature to get much colder on Thursday night into Friday. Please plan accordingly and prepare for extreme cold.
