MISSION STATEMENT VETERANS SERVICES DEPARTMENT
The objective of the Veterans Services Office is to assist veterans and their dependents in every way possible so that they receive the maximum benefits they rightfully deserve.

Massachusetts’ laws make it mandatory that financial aid be furnished to needy veterans and their dependents in a special way, apart from other public aid programs and that there be made available to all veterans and their kin such advice, information and assistance as may be necessary to enable them to procure the benefits to which they may be entitled, relative to employment, vocational or other opportunities, hospitalization, medical care, pensions, compensation insurance and other benefits. The office must keep on hand current booklets and other printed matter pertaining to the statutory rights and privileges of war veterans provided by federal and state laws.
