8. Melrose and Black Rock Trails

The trail begins at gate 49 on the East Fellsway Highway. This extensive trail system is part of the Middlesex Fells Reservation. The trails are level and at points provide look-out areas for viewing Melrose, Malden, and the Boston skyline.
