What is eBill?
MCC eBill is one of the fastest growing municipal bill payment services in  Massachusetts.  The eBill system takes the City’s verified tax information and posts it on the eBill website so residents can view and pay their bill.

Is it safe?
eBill accepts payments using a secure, 128 bit SSL encrypted webpage. This is the highest standard in Internet security. All information is stored in a secured database to prevent unauthorized access to the data. All information is kept private, and is not shared.

How do I use eBill?
To make payments online tax payers must register on the eBill website, http://www.mcc.net/ebill.  After the online registration page is completed and the account is activated, residents can authorize electronic transfers from their bank account or by credit card.

How much does the service cost?
The cost for paying your bill online is cheaper than a stamp.  The convenience fee for ACH payments (electronic check, payments made using a checking or savings bank account) is 25 cents.

American Express, Master Card, Visa and Discover cards are also accepted; the fees associated with credit card differ from an ACH payment.  Please refer to the fee schedule found on the eBill website.

How do I register?
Registering is easy and requires minimal information from you.

  • Complete the online registration questions including name, address, and password.

  • You will receive an email indicating your Client ID and Activation Number for accessing eBill for the first time.

  • Return to the eBill home page and login with your Username, Password, and when prompted, your Activation number. You are ready to pay bills on eBill.
